What we collect, and what we don't.

Short version: you can read every job and every guide on this site without giving us anything. We only hold details you type into a form yourself.

Last updated 24 July 2026

What we collect

If you submit a job through our form, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you write about the role. That is the only personal information we ask anyone for.

We also collect basic anonymous usage data, such as which pages get visited and roughly where visitors are in the world. This is not tied to a name and we cannot use it to identify you.

What we do with it

  • Reply to you about the job you submitted
  • Tell you when your listing goes up, and send you the link
  • Understand which guides and roles people actually find useful

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your details to anyone, for any amount
  • Add you to a mailing list because you submitted a job
  • Pass your information to employers unless you asked us to
  • Charge job seekers anything at any point

We do not collect CVs, and we do not want them. When you apply for a role you found here, you apply on the employer's own site. Your application never passes through us.

Links to other sites

Every listing sends you to an employer's own application page. Once you leave this site, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We check that a role is real before we post it, but we cannot control what a company does with the details you give them.

How long we keep things

Job submissions are kept while the listing is live and for a period afterwards so we have a record of what we published and where it came from. If you want yours deleted sooner, email us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@treehousejob.com and we will sort it out. You do not need a reason.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on our Telegram channel rather than quietly editing the date at the top.
