About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to provide technical support to customers, contractors,
consultants, and project teams using our client's construction chemical products. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing product guidance, conducting site assessments, supporting product application, troubleshooting technical issues, and working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams to ensure effective customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide technical support and product guidance to customers, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
•Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and recommend appropriate construction chemical solutions.
•Provide guidance on product selection, preparation, application, and usage.
• Conduct product demonstrations, application trials, and technical presentations where required.
• Troubleshoot product and application issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Investigate and resolve customer technical complaints and concerns.
• Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to provide technical support during client engagements.
• Train customers, contractors, applicators, and distributors on proper product application and best practices.
• Monitor product performance on project sites and gather customer feedback.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and key construction industry stakeholders.
• Prepare relevant technical and site visit reports and escalate complex issues when necessary.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a technically strong Civil Engineer who is also comfortable dealing
directly with customers. They should be able to diagnose construction-related problems,
explain solutions clearly, support product application on-site, and work closely with commercial
teams to ensure customers have a successful experience.
Requirements
- Requirements :
- • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction chemicals, construction, or
- a related technical field.
- • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and site operations.
- • Experience in technical support, site supervision, technical sales, product application, or engineering solutions.
- • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- • Excellent communication and client relationship-management skills.
- • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical customers.
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects or client requirements.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- • Willingness to travel to construction sites and client locations.
- • Must be able to commute conveniently to Ikeja, Lagos.
